Now this has been a loooong time coming. I’m not talking about Christian’s reign as World Heavyweight Champion, I’m talking about there being a new wallpaper of Captain Charisma on this site. Geez, the last time we had one was when he was main-eventing TNA as leader of the Christian Coalition. But fear not Peeps (even though he “doesn’t care” about the fans anymore), what you see here is a brand new wallpaper of the man who showed us that the only way to defeat a Viper is by turning oneself into a Spitting Cobra, Christian!
I’ve been a fan of Christian for a while now. I enjoyed his antics alongside Edge back in their goofy Edge & Christian days. Didn’t really enjoy the whole Ministry – Brood stint, but really found myself laughing every time he’d come out to that theme he had before moving to TNA.“Christian…..Christian…..At last, You’re On, You’reee Owwwwwn”. Laughing in a good way, of course.
I always thought Christian deserved a legitimate shot at the big championships. And luckily he has had one helluva feud with Orton over the last few months. Solid matches all around with a good storyline to keep things interesting. I think the only reason he’s not a poster-boy like the other big-dogs in the company is because of that war-torn body he has. The man looks like he’d been starving on a remote island somewhere while fending off against the local barbarian tribesmen. That coupled with his ruffled hair and stubby beard probably keeps him off WWE’s PPV material. I’m not saying he looks bad, I’m just saying he needs to reinvent himself and ‘look like a champion‘. Look at Dolph Ziggler. Look at CM Punk. Ziggler looked like the most mundane version of a Calvin Klien underwear model before he decided to do something about his hair, while Punk looked like…well, a punk before getting into WWE. Neither were bad, but to be BIG in WWE you have to look like a superstar. Maybe Christian should dye his hair. Maybe grow a cool beard. And some new tights, new music, etc. That’ll do the trick.
Anyway, there has been a LOT of demand for a new Christian wallpaper, so I decided this is the absolute best time to make one!
